Energy Club WA and WA Mining Club are collaborating in a series of sundowner events over the coming year, inviting subject matter experts to provide a factual education on various aspects of nuclear power generation.
Throughout the series, we'll discuss reactor technology (including current state of SMR technology), the nuclear fuel supply chain with conversion and enrichment processes, true power generation costs, supply and demand dynamics of uranium, through to operational safety and waste storage.
Join us for an introductory sundowner this Thursday 2nd May and hear from Tim Duff (Cameco) and Murray Hill (Elevate Uranium) as they lay the foundation for the series ahead.
Thank you to our event sponsor, Minerals Council of Australia. Sponsorship is still available; to learn more please contact Kate McCarthy.
In collaboration with Carbon TP we are pleased to offer this newest course to our members and industry colleagues.

If so, then this is the seminar for you. Bookings are open now but places are limited.
We're delighted to welcome Microsoft and INPEX as our guest speaker in May. They'll present 'Innovating Energy with GenAI: Transformative Strategies for the Energy Sector'
The dawn of a new technology era began with a bang just over one year ago when Generative AI was launched to the public. Overnight, GenAI was catapulted from being a subject of esoteric R&D to the hottest topic amongst senior leaders in Australia and internationally. Applications like ChatGPT, Midjourney and the GitHub Copilot rapidly captured the public’s imagination and signalled that the era of ‘AI for all’ had well and truly arrived.
Gain insights into GenAI and learn how companies are evaluating, piloting and/or implementing this new technology to transform their business and reshape exploration programs, improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, improve safety and reduce emissions to become more sustainable.
Seize the opportunity to stay ahead in the dynamic energy sector and join us for first-hand insight on Gen AI and the future of our industry.
