The Next Generation Schools Program is the success it is because of the ongoing support from our industry. There are various capacities you can get involved with the program;
- Mentor: Volunteer your time to visit with high school students, from years 8 to 10, and share your experiences of working in the energy industry and ignite their passion. We have two different positions available, Lead and Co-Lead mentors and Guest Panel mentors.
- Sponsorship: This program relies on the participation of industry mentors and organisation sponsorship to ensure we can continue to inspire the “next generation.” This is an incredible way to align your organisation with an initiative that engages the wider community and our future workforce, as well as financially supporting the program.
The Next Generation Schools Program provides a rewarding opportunity for your organisation and your staff to give back to the industry you work in. Engage with the ‘Next Generation’ of aspiring students and ignite their passion for the energy industry. - Excursions, Prizes, and Merch: Organising excursions for students to tour workplace facilities and participate in some industry-based activities. The finale of the program allows students to gain further insight by exploring the exhibits and accessing corporate merch goodies to take home, and a lucky few are awarded some great industry-based prize experiences.
