Kelvin Andrijich - Managing Director of Alltype Engineering
Kelvin has had a successful and accomplished 30-year career in the engineering and energy industries. He started as a mechanical engineer, gaining hands-on experience in the fabrication and construction industry.
Kelvin has been involved in many successful projects across the energy sector, including the recent construction of a compressor station near Geraldton, gas pipeline facilities, water infrastructure, mineral processing, and renewable energy projects.
One project that holds a special place in Kelvin's heart is the Thevenard Island compression project, his first construction manager role where he both led and was part of the installation team. The location was spectacular, with an operational gas plant adjacent to a nature reserve and tour operation. Whilst the project was challenging, the client and team were a joy to work with.
Kelvin quickly found his passion in solving complex problems and turning big designs into reality through project delivery and construction. His expertise and natural leadership skills soon earned him a managerial role, where he further honed his skills by completing an MBA. Since then, Kelvin has held various business development, general management, and company leadership positions.
As the Managing Director of Alltype Engineering, Kelvin has worked hard to transform the company into a credible tier-two construction contracting organisation and has grown the size and complexity of projects delivered by the company in Western Australia and nationally.
“I value the opportunity to positively influence people's personal and professional development and developing successful high-performance teams through a positive corporate culture,” he said.
“Working with good people and companies, taking on new challenges and the opportunity to continuously learn keeps me motivated and inspired.”
Kelvin has been a proud member of the Energy Club WA since 2005, and he values the passion that the people in the club bring to the industry.
