Nadia Ridge, Operations Superintendent at Jadestone Energy
This month, we’re pleased to introduce Nadia Ridge, Operations Superintendent at Jadestone Energy, and one of the newest members of the Energy Club WA community.
Nadia joined the Club in December 2025 and has already found value in the sense of connection it brings.
“I really enjoy the networking opportunities, as well as the Leadership and Mentor Programme,” she says, noting how important it is to be part of a community that supports learning, leadership and professional growth across all career stages.
With 12 years’ experience in the energy industry, Nadia’s career began with a Chemical Engineering degree, followed by a vacation and graduate program with Santos. From there, she moved through a variety of operations-focused roles, progressing into leadership before relocating from Adelaide to Perth for family reasons and in pursuit of new growth opportunities within a high-performance, values-driven culture.
Now based in Perth, Nadia works for Jadestone Energy, an offshore oil and gas producer with operations in Australia and across Asia. The company focuses on maximising value from existing producing fields, extending the economic life of maturing assets, and selectively investing in growth projects. Having worked with aged assets in the past, this strategy attracted Nadia.
“I find it rewarding both for the challenge of managing late-life assets to deliver reliable production and cashflow, and for the purpose of making the most of existing infrastructure and footprint… there’s sustainability in that.”
Nadia says she has particularly enjoyed the move to a smaller operator.
“The breadth of exposure, responsibility, and autonomy at Jadestone offers fast growth and clear line of sight to impact, and the people and culture are great.”
In her current role, Nadia is involved in implementing new systems and processes across the business.
“I’m working on implementing new Integrated activity planning, shutdown delivery, cost control and operational risk management systems,” she said, highlighting the critical role that operations excellence systems and processes play in driving both safety and performance.
When reflecting on her greatest achievements, Nadia points first to life outside of work.
“Balancing life with two young boys under four and managing numerous responsibilities is something I’m particularly proud of.”
She’s also passionate about encouraging more women to pursue careers in the energy industry.
“It can be challenging at times, but I hope to inspire other women to see the potential and pursue a meaningful career in this industry.”
Professionally, she finds the most fulfilment in the challenge of leadership, delivering results that drive the business forward and contribute to the global energy market, while unlocking growth and job satisfaction in people. What keeps her motivated is the balance between commercial outcomes and people development.
“It’s not always easy, leading for high performance and driving accountability can be challenging because it invariably involves change, but seeing progress and development makes it worthwhile.”
Outside of work, Nadia balances family life with a range of personal pursuits, cooking, staying active, “entertaining toddlers,” and exploring growth areas such as leadership development and Tibetan Buddhism, alongside meditation practice. Travel is also important to her; Brazil and Italy, where she has family and friends, are among her favourite destinations, and she enjoys visiting India to deepen her understanding of Tibetan Buddhism and Eastern wellness practices.
“It’s a chance to experience diverse cultures and new ways of thinking and living,” she said, reflecting on how personal interests can enrich our professional life.
We’re delighted to welcome Nadia to the Energy Club WA community and look forward to seeing her continue to connect, contribute and grow through the Club.
